Our Councilman.  Our Voice.
Reducing Taxes

Councilman Joshua Freed has cut utility taxes, never increased your property taxes and set aside a 20% reserve to protect vital services in times of crises.  This financial plan he crafted was honored by the Governor for its fiscal prudence with an award for innovation in government.
Improving Our Quaility of Life

Councilman Freed created and funded a traffic plan to keep our kids safe at crosswalks and bus stops.  He fought successfully to keep adult entertainment out of our City when it threatened to ruin the area by the Yakima Fruit Market.  Josh listened to the people and proposed the legislation that kept City Hall out of the Park at Bothell Landing and expands the park instead.
Protecting the Environment

Joshua Freed saw hillsides here in Bothell destroyed by clear cutting and said "never again".  He passed legislation to encourage tree-retention, energy efficient homes and clean water in our streams.  Joshua Freed is working to make sure our children will grow up in the same forests and streams he enjoyed exploring as a boy here in Bothell.
